The 4th Anniversary of the Uzbek Women's Rights Association Celebrated with a Grand Ceremony
A special celebration program was held on the evening of Wednesday, September 24th, at Uçar Garden Bosphorus, located in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul, to mark the 4th anniversary of the founding of the "Uzbek Women's Rights Association." Approximately 130 distinguished guests attended the event, which was celebrated in a festive atmosphere.
Among the honored guests were: Jamila Shermukhamedova, Leading Professor of the Department of Social Humanities and Historical Sciences at the University of Financial Management and Technologies, Deputy of the Tashkent City Council of People's Deputies, Member of the Expert Commission under the Presidential Administration, Expert of the Republican State Committee for Family and Women, and Member of the "Republican Wise Women Movement"; Yıldız Uzunaslan, Founder of "Yıldızpermit Consulting" Company; Uzbek women entrepreneurs, leaders of the "Leader Women" Club, the Management of Tashkent State University of Economics, and the head of an international training center; Monik İpekel, prominent leader and founder of 16 non-governmental organizations; Muhammet Arif Genç, Head of the Turkish World Federation; Faruk Şahin, Head of the Yörük Association; Yılmaz Parlar, television producer and news coordinator; S. Serra Erdoğan, international artist; Kasım Alper Özdemir, Head of the "İyilik Hareketi" (Kindness Movement) Association; the Head of the "Tomris Hatun" International Culture, Art, and Education Association; Atakan Taşur and Koray Bozat, Founders of "BHS Group"; attorneys from the "ADS Consulting" Law Firm, representatives of the Turkic World; diaspora representatives from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Tataristan, as well as Uzbek and Turkish citizens living in Turkey, and members of our Association.
Delivering the opening speech of the evening, the President of our Association, Ozoda Islomova, emphasized that the primary objective behind establishing the Uzbek Women's Rights Association is to unite compatriots abroad and provide them with comprehensive support. Furthermore, she highlighted the productive work carried out, the achievements secured, and the tangible results attained over the past four years, while providing a brief overview of the planned strategic activities for the future.
Following her, Jamila Shermuhamedova, honored with the title "Mother of the Nation," took the floor and expressed her high appreciation for the noble and meaningful work accomplished throughout the Association's period of activity. Shermuhamedova drew attention to the vital importance of always acting in unity and harmony, working hand in hand, and underscored the absolute necessity of supporting our women in every field and collectively contributing to the advancement of our society.
