Cultural Values of Türkiye, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan
A prestigious cultural event was organized with the aim of promoting the fraternal bonds, shared historical heritage, and rich cultural values that connect the peoples of Türkiye, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan. The event was attended by Istanbul's district mayors, representatives of the Turkish business world and confederations, local government officials, distinguished businesspeople and opinion leaders from Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Azerbaijan, alongside members and volunteers of the Uzbek Women's Rights Association. Within the scope of the program, the President of the Association, Ozoda Islomova, delivered an address highlighting the historical importance of the enduring friendship, brotherhood, and strategic cooperation relations among Türkiye, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan. Furthermore, she provided comprehensive information regarding ongoing efforts to support women in all fields, enhance their efficacy in entrepreneurship and socio-economic life, develop international collaborations, and strengthen cultural-humanitarian relations. In her speech, she presented various proposals and initiatives aimed at developing the industry, production, tourism, and investment sectors in Uzbekistan, encouraging foreign investments, and reinforcing international partnerships. She emphasized that elevating commercial, economic, investment, and cultural relations among the three countries to a new level, strengthening the position of women in society and the economy, and implementing joint projects remain among today's priority objectives. Throughout the event, Uzbekistan’s rich national and cultural heritage, traditions, and values were promoted at a high level with the active participation of association members and Uzbek students studying in Türkiye. The national music, cultural performances, and programs reflecting traditional values were received with great interest and acclaim by the guests. As part of the program, guests were presented with national scarves made of natural silk—reflecting Uzbekistan's traditional handicrafts and weaving culture—alongside various commemorative gifts.
At the conclusion of the program, business negotiations were conducted in a B2B format. During these meetings, evaluations were made regarding the development of commercial and economic cooperation, increasing investments, implementing joint projects, and creating new business opportunities. Furthermore, the participants exchanged views on further strengthening mutual trust and strategic partnership among our countries, supporting investment and social projects, and realizing joint future initiatives, resulting in preliminary agreements across various fields.
As part of the event, guests were served traditional Uzbek pilaf (Osh), regional desserts, and various national delicacies meticulously prepared by our compatriots. These special treats, reflecting Uzbekistan’s rich culinary culture and tradition of hospitality, were met with great appreciation and enthusiasm by the invitees, offering them an opportunity to closely experience the unique flavors of Uzbek cuisine. This meaningful event carried great significance as an important dialogue and cooperation platform contributing to the development of cultural, social, and economic relations among Türkiye, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan.
