Children’s Day Celebration

An unforgettable festive event, enriched with sincerity, friendship, and the joy of childhood, took place at the Atatürk Airport Nation’s Garden. Organized under the initiative of the Uzbek Women's Rights Association for the children of our compatriots living in Türkiye, the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day celebrations left a bright and lasting impression on everyone's heart. Commencing with the ceremonial recitation of the national anthems of both countries, the event was officially inaugurated by the President of the Association, Ozoda Islomova. In her address, Islomova extended her heartfelt congratulations to the children, who are the guarantors of our future, while emphasizing the paramount importance of preserving and maintaining our mother tongue, national values, and traditions for our citizens living abroad. Transforming into a true festival of national spirit and youth talent, the celebration provided a platform for our little ones to showcase their skills. A fashion show of national attire, reflecting the brilliance of traditional atlas and adras fabrics, added a distinct color to the event. The stage performances, vibrant drawings of the Uzbek flag, and enthusiastic dances inspired everyone present by reflecting the innocent joy of the children. Undoubtedly, the most sincere and memorable moments of the event were captured during the serving of Uzbek Pilaf, the symbol of our national pride. Prepared by expert hands, this unique culinary masterpiece became more than just a meal; it served as a bridge of friendship and solidarity. The heartfelt conversations between our Turkish brothers and sisters and our compatriots gathered around the table further reinforced intercultural harmony and mutual cultural closeness.
