An Uzbek Cultural Breeze in Istanbul

The "Uzbekistan Culture Day" event, organized through the initiative of the "Uzbek Women's Rights Association" at the Istanbul Branch of the Writers' Union of Turkey (TYB), turned into an unforgettable festive celebration for both our citizens and foreign guests. Throughout the event, traditional Uzbek melodies and songs echoed through the venue, captivating hearts alongside vibrant dances and live music performances. Our ancient customs, such as the precious "Alla" (Lullaby) and "Kelin Salom" (The Bride's Greeting), which are among the most valuable treasures of our heritage, came to life on stage, proudly showcasing the unique cultural richness of our people once again. Such events do not only bring our citizens abroad together but also represent a crucial step toward introducing and elevating Uzbekistan's culture on the international stage.
