A Breeze of Uzbek Culture at Istanbul Kültür University's "International Day" Event!

multicultural event titled “International Day” was held at Kültür University, one of Istanbul's prestigious educational institutions. Ozoda Islomova, President of the "ÖKHD – Uzbek Women's Rights Association," and her team actively participated in this meaningful event, which was celebrated in a festive atmosphere. Located in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul, this long-standing university provides education to international students from all around the globe. Having our own knowledgeable, active, and talented youth from Uzbekistan among these students is a source of infinite pride for all of us. The event took place in a highly enthusiastic, warm, and friendly atmosphere, showcasing traditional Uzbek clothing, the art of dance, and a colorful array of traditional dishes and sweets. In particular, the pride of our people—the authentic Uzbek Pilaf—was served to the visiting guests. Through this, Uzbek national culture and its deeply rooted traditions of hospitality were beautifully spotlighted at the highest level.
